How much leave you get

  • First year: 1 day for each month of full attendance, up to 11 days.
  • After one year: 15 days if you attended 80% or more of working days.
  • From the third year: 1 extra day every 2 years, up to 25 days.

Unused leave

Leave not used within a year is usually paid out as an annual leave allowance, unless your employer formally asked you to use it (leave use promotion). When you leave the company, unused leave must be paid. This allowance is also added when your severance is calculated.

Public holidays are separate paid days off and do not reduce your annual leave.
